Make sure your opponent knows that you scored in Madden 22.
Madden 22 celebration guide: How to do all the game's celebrations

The easiest way to showboat in Madden 22 is by triggering a celebration dance before you score a touchdown or while you’re actually in the endzone.

Celebrations have long been a part of the Madden franchise and they’re not going anywhere this year. Luckily for fans, EA is giving players more opportunities than ever to celebrate their accomplishments on the field.

Players can either do a celebration en route to scoring a touchdown after pulling off a nice spin move, lethal stiff arm or during their actual time in the endzone. The latter is much safer in terms of risking a score but both are fair game in Madden 22. Below, players can find out exactly how to celebrate and the different types of celebrations in this year’s Madden title.

First up, you need to know how to trigger the various celebrations of Madden 22. For Xbox players, the keybind is holding down 'LT + RT + A' at the same time. For PlayStation users, the keybind is holding down 'L2 + R2 + X'. This will trigger the celebration and your ball carrier will perform some kind of dance or other celebration while still walking/running.

However, you need to ensure that there are no defenders around you. If a defender manages to tackle you during a celebration, your ballhandler will almost always fumble the football.

If you want to be flashy while entering the endzone, you can hold down these keybinds to dive into the endzone. For Xbox: 'LT + X'. For PlayStation: 'L2 + Square'.

If you’ve managed to not get tackled and made it safely to the endzone, then you have another set of celebrations to trigger. All of these involve the right stick on either controller but different celebrations require different actions of the right stick.

  • Press down the right stick: Swag celebration

  • Hold the right stick down: Player celebration

  • Hold the right stick to the left: Player dance celebration

  • Hold the right stick to the right: Spike the football

  • Hold the right stick up: Team celebration

Those are all of the celebration options and how to trigger them in Madden 22. If you’re interested in more Madden 22 guides, be sure to check out our dedicated section for the game.
