Updated November 7: Franchise Mode and Superstar Mode appeared to go down overnight for several players. There was no official comment about Madden 24 servers being down, but the issue seems to have been resolved.
Madden 24 Down? - Latest Server Updates
As of this writing, Madden 24 is not down. Unfortunately, knowing EA, that could very easily have changed. You can keep track of all the latest server issues, updates, and scheduled maintenance below.
Despite a lack of word from EA about the issue, DownDetector saw tons of reports roll in the night of November 6 into the morning of November 7. Google Trends signaled that several players were running into Franchise Mode and Superstar Mode issues and facing the error message "the requested league is temporarily unavailable." Fortunately, reports have dwindled and the problem appears to have been resolved.

According to Madden NFL Direct, they're investigating an issue where Xbox users are unable to use online matchmaking. Crossplay was temporarily disabled while this was being addressed. The issue was resolved and crossplay enabled once again the next morning around 10am ET.
According to Madden NFL Direct, their team discovered an issue with MUT and Superstar Showdown and temporarily restricted both modes while attempting to fix the problem. The MUT issue was resolved about an hour later, but Superstar Showdown stayed restricted a bit longer until the issue was fixed.

How to Check Madden 24 Server Status
If there aren't yet any updates above about the latest Madden 24 server problems, there are a few ways you can check right now to see whether others are having the same issues. The first port of call for most players should be DownDetector, as reports tend to spike there before EA notices or addresses an issue.
After that, you can check the official EA server status via EA Help. The list of games at the bottom includes Madden 24, which should be working as intended if server status is listed as online. You can also use the links from EA Help to check your platform just in case there's a larger server problem affecting Xbox, PlayStation, or Steam.
If you're not noticing any reports and the Madden 24 servers appear to be up and running, you should try some in-game troubleshooting. Press RT or R2 while on the main menu and you should attempt to reconnect and sign in to EA servers, as this alone can sometimes shake things loose and get you back in. You also want to check Madden NFL Direct on Twitter to see if they've commented on any recent issues.
If that doesn't work, close the game entirely before relaunching and signing in.
