With the NFL Playoffs just about to get underway, Season 4 is coming in the latest Madden 24 update. This also happens to be their January Title Update, and hopefully it will include continued bug fixes and UI improvements.

Even as the season wraps up, developers are likely already keeping their eye on the Madden 25 release date and what they have in store later this year. In the meantime, this Madden 24 update should bring some extra content as fans enjoy the postseason.

With the Season 4 Field Pass and several key players available in Ultimate Team announced yesterday, the Madden 24 update adding that content has already arrived. This will either be Update 1.12, Update 1.013, or Update 1.0.0.17 depending on which platform you're on.

We don't have a confirmed download size on all platforms, but it clocked in at 1.70 GB on Xbox Series X|S. While not massive, that size definitely indicates some fixes were included as they continue to refine the game after a series of hiccups around launch

With Season 4 arriving, that'll mean a new Competetive Field Pass will be in place for players. Progress will reset, but a whole new batch of cards in Ultimate Team will be up for grabs including Ray Lewis, Jerry Rice, and Joe Montana.

EA Sports has not yet revealed the Gridiron Notes aka Madden 24 Patch Notes for this update, but it was confirmed on yesterday's episode of Good Morning Madden that they should arrive this morning. You can find more details here about every Madden 24 update this year and the latest on this arrival.
