Even with the preseason still a ways out, players have already learned when the Madden 25 trial is due to land. Every year, EA Sports pushes things forward bit by bit with fans hoping to see new features and customization options.
Thanks to EA Sports College Football 25 returning to revive the once beloved NCAA series, we already know a few key details about when the pro-level counterpart will arrive. We've got more here including the confirmed Madden 25 trial release date and how to take advantage of early access.
Madden 25 Trial Release Date
With a heavy emphasis in the EA Sports College Football 25 reveal put on the new MVP Bundle featuring both that and the upcoming Madden 25, details about the NFL title have been revealed much earlier than in previous years. The worldwide launch of Madden 25 is already set for August 16, 2024, which is right in line with the timing they've used in recent years.
The pre-release demo tended to land even earlier a few years back, but they're sticking to aligning it with the early access launch that players who pre order a deluxe edition receive. As a result, the Madden 25 trial release date will be August 13, 2024. That's a full three days early for players who want to try the game out before committing to purchasing a copy.
How to Get Early Access with the Madden 25 Trial
Players who have already decided to get the game and just want early access are better off placing a pre order for the Deluxe Edition of Madden 25 or the combination MVP Bundle that includes EA Sports College Football 25. However, anyone still unsure can score a 10-hour limited time trial that'll be available at the same time as early access.
To download the Madden 25 trial, you'll have to be an active EA Play member. For existing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, this is included for free as EA Play is rolled into the Game Pass library. If you don't already have that, keep an eye out for one-week trials that pop up now and then for EA Play if you're a new subscriber, or you can drop the $5.99 for a month of EA Play.
No matter which way you gain early access, those playing the Madden 25 trial will only receive 10 hours of gameplay. After that time limit has expired, you'll be required to purchase a full copy of Madden 25 to continue playing.
