It is almost time for the global release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated games for 2023 and for good reason. The reviews of the game have been absolutely glowing with reviewers praising its story and its gameplay. There are a lot of people counting the days to when the game will launch.

The game is a good length from what reviewers have said and on top of that, there is a lot to do in the game. With all that being said, the excitement for Spider-Man 2 is building and players want to get in as soon as possible. Officially, the release date for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is October 20th. But that seems to be mainly for retail stores. Players who decide to get the digital version of the game and pre-load it will have the opportunity to play the game a bit earlier. Here are the global release times for Marvel's Spider-Man 2:

  • October 19, 2023, 4 am PT
  • October 19, 2023, 6 am CT
  • October 19, 2023, 7 am ET
  • October 19, 2023, 12 pm BST
  • October 19, 2023, 1 pm CEST
  • October 19, 2023, 4:30 pm IST
  • October 19, 2023, 7 pm CST
  • October 19, 2023, 8 pm KST/JST
  • October 19, 2023, 10 pm AEDT
  • October 20, 2023, 12 am NZDT

As you can see, pre-loading the game will be beneficial to players who want to jump into Spider-Man 2 as soon as possible. A majority of the world will be able to play Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on October 19th instead of the 20th. This is assuming that players pre-load the game before it launches on their PlayStation 5.

From what we can tell, people can play Marvel's Spider-Man 2 early if they purchase it digitally and pre-load it. The game will become available sooner digitally than it will in retail stores. But that does not mean that it is not worth purchasing in retail stores as they have their own way to get players Spider-Man 2 as soon as possible.

There are going to be some stores that will have a midnight launch for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. This is to get players their hands on the game as soon as possible. If players want to get Spider-Man 2 that way, that option is open for them provided the retail store they bought the game from provides that service.
