Minecraft 1.21 Vanilla update has been announced officially in Minecraft Live 2023, and along with this, Mojang has also announced the Mob Vote winner, which is Armadillo, a small mammal with a hard shell that can roll into a ball when threatened. Once the mob makes its debut in Minecraft, you will want to find it, and here is where to do it and what drops it will give you.

The Armadillo spawns in the Savannah Biome, which is a warm and dry area with acacia trees and tall grass. You can find the savannah biome near deserts, forests, or plains biomes. It is a peaceful mob that will wander around the Savannah unless it is startled by a player or another mob. If that happens, it will curl up into a ball to protect itself from harm.

Minecraft Armadillo Drops

The Armadillo drops a special item called a scute that can be used to craft a new type of armor called Wolf Armor for your wolf pet. It will give your wolf some extra defense and durability, making it a more reliable companion in your adventures. As of now, there are no details about how you can craft Wolf Armor, breed Armadillo, or tame it; however, we will update this page as we get more information about the mob.
