The long-awaited revamped ores, friendly mobs and so much more awaits!
Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Part 1: Release date, new content and more

The world’s biggest sandbox is getting bigger, taller, scarier and more populated than ever. Minecraft will be hit with the first instalment of two of the Caves & Cliffs update.

Initially announced during the last Minecraft LIVE from October of last year which included regular Vanilla and Dungeons announcements alike.

Caves & Cliffs part one will be 1.17 and part two will compose 1.18 of Minecraft as Mojang decided to split the update “due to the amount and complexity of content, as well as team health.”

Fear not though, there’s a lot of new stuff headbutting us in the nose like mobs, terrain generation and more. Without further ado, here is everything you need to know about the Caves & Cliffs Part 1.

So far, we are loving Mojang’s transparency regarding employee’s health and content calendar. They definitely know that good fences make good neighbours already 10+ years in the biz.
