Collector's Editions are just that. A special edition of an upcoming game that offers additional bonuses that only the most die-hard fans will want to get their hands on. For the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds, something extra special has been planned.
As spotted by VGC, there's a special Ultra Collector's Edition that's looking to set back fans almost $1300, or ¥181,590 — I say Yen, as this edition appears to be exclusive to Japan. So what is it that makes the edition so pricey? Well, it comes with a bike.
Yes, a Monster Hunter Wilds-themed folding bike is on the table, so you can hunt your giant beasts out in the wild without contributing to the climate crisis. The bike isn't the only item included in this Collector's Edition. It also comes with a baby Seikret plush, a Steelbook, a physical Weapon Bag pouch, a copy of the game on PS5, and the digital bonuses included in the deluxe edition.
Sadly, it seems this edition will only be available in Japan, as Capcom have yet to reveal any plans to open up the bike offer to other regions. Monster Hunter Wilds is set to launch on February 27, 2025.
