Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak has a massive collection of armor sets that you will essentially need on your hunter journey. Vaik X is one of the armor sets in the game that has just debuted in the latest Sunreak expansion. It’s composed of five pieces that offer 500 defense at its base level.

Similar to other items in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, the Vaik X armor set boasts a unique skillset and special effects when equipped by a player. However, this item needs to be unlocked first before one can use it strategically to his advantage. There are two ways to get your hands on the new Vaik X Armor Set in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion:

Gather material required to craft Vaik X Armor Set

The first way to get Vaik X Armor Set in Monster Hunter Rise Subreak is by collecting the material required to craft it.

As we’ve mentioned earlier, the armor set is compromised of five different pieces, and players will need to find their respective materials to craft Vaik X Armor Set:

• Vaik Helm X: Whetfish x2, Hydro Piel x2, Large Armored Bream x2, Pure Crystal x2
• Vaik Mail X: Speartuna ×1, Gajau Thickhide ×2, Sapphiron Ore ×1, Large Armored Bream ×1
• Vaik Braces X: Speartuna ×1, Hydro Piel ×2, Sapphiron Ore ×1, Large Armored Bream ×1
• Vaik Coil X: Sushifish ×2, Gajau Thickhide ×2, Sapphiron Ore ×1, Large Armored Bream ×1

Trade Large Armored Bream with Argosy

Another way to get Vaik X Armor Set is by trading Large Armored Bream with The Argosy. The Large Armored Bream unlocks as a bonus item using the Argosy trading system after reaching Master Rank 2 (MR2).

For this, players must send a buddy to trade items on Icebarb Bazaar. To send buddies on trade, talk to Rondine, the Trader who will be located at the Buddy Plaza docks on Kamura Village.
