Mortal Kombat 1 Release Time Countdown: When Does MK1 Release In My Region?

Anyone with a love of fighting games is eagerly anticipating the release of Mortal Kombat 1. As the twelfth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series, and a sequel to Mortal Kombat 11 (2019), Mortal Kombat 1 reboots the MK world once more and brings with it even more disgustingly brutal combos and Fatalities. 

The hype around Mortal Kombat 1 has been steadily building. Just recently, NetherRealm revealed a brand new look for series staple Johnny Cage, recreating him in the image of Jean-Claude Van Damme. And with players eager to jump into the action and learn about everything else the game has to offer, it's important to note exactly when the game is set to go live. 

There are two launch dates to be aware of: the early access release, which happens on September 14, 2023; and the standard, global release happening on September 19, 2023. Below, we'll go over the release times for each.

Mortal Kombat 1 Early Access Release Time Countdown

If you've purchased either the Premium Edition or Kollector's Edition of Mortal Kombat 1, then you'll be able to play the game on September 14, 2023. Depending on your region, Mortal Kombat 1 will go live in early access at these times:

• 10 AM PDT 
• 1 PM EDT 
• 6 PM BST 
• 7 PM CEST 
• 9 AM JST (September 15)

Mortal Kombat 1 Global Release Time Countdown

If you've purchased the Standard Edition of Mortal Kombat 1, then you'll be able to play the game on its global release date September 19, 2023. Depending on your region, Mortal Kombat 1 will be available to play at these times:

• 10 AM PDT 
• 1 PM EDT 
• 6 PM BST 
• 7 PM CEST 
• 9 AM JST (September 20)
