Attention to detail is important for the people in 2K as some teams will even get arena changes to reflect their NBA season counterpart. (Picture: 2K Sports)

To start, we will go over the current gen changes in this patch. We will again see the “Rebirth” quest and the “Gym Rat” badge that players were begging to come back, so now you can go ahead and complete and acquire them in MyCareer or MyTeam.

Apart from that we will enjoy a refurbished collision detection system to prevent “ghost” fouls and they have also fixed issues with invisible custom apparel in MyTeam as part of the current gen changes.

For Xbox Series X|S and PS5 we will see changes in the game presentations as new voice lives have been added for the game broadcasters as well as the sideline reporters.

Also, arenas around the league have been modified to become more like their real counterparts, some of the teams that have benefited from this change include:

  • Chicago Bulls
  • Cleveland Cavaliers
  • Dallas Mavericks
  • Miami Heat
  • Minnesota Timberwolves
  • Phoenix Suns
  • Oklahoma City Thunder
  • San Antonio Spurs
  • Toronto Raptors
