How to find a dummy frame in New World

Housing is an overlooked part of New World, as many players are out completing quests, earning new gear or trying to get to level 60 as quickly as possible. The housing process can be incredibly rewarding and is a great way to relax in Aeternum, though. If players are looking for a way to differentiate their house from others, the dummy frame is a perfect way. 

The Dummy Frame is exactly what it sounds like, a training dummy that players can install in their house. This could allow players to practice their weapon timings or attacks without having to have step outside of their home. To find one of the housing objects, players can keep reading below. 

Finding a dummy frame

To begin the process, you can find a dummy frame as a drop out in the world. However, the problem is that the drop is incredibly rare and many players won’t simply get it from killing random creatures and monsters in New World. 

Instead, you’ll need to focus on the supply chests and crates that are spread out across the many regions in Aeternum. These chests and crates are mostly found in landmarks that players stumble upon as a part of a quest or by exploring. The landmarks are usually small villages or farms that hold a wide variety of chests. 

The ones players are looking for are specifically named “Supply.” From here, all you need to do is start searching these chests and crates and hope that you receive the Dummy Frame as a drop from them. You can increase your chances of finding rarer items by wearing gear with a Chunk of Adderstone as a gem. 

The dummy frame is a legendary drop, so you shouldn’t expect to receive one in your first few hours of searching. Once you find one, though, you need to be at level 50 in the Furnishing trade skill to craft the Dummy Frame in your home.
