Outriders Worldslayer Post Launch Update - All Fixes And Changes

Outriders Worldslayer has been out for a few weeks, and developer People Can Fly has now revealed post-launch plans for the game. A massive patch is on its way with some quality-of-life changes, bug fixes, and several balancing tweaks to the game.

The first post-launch update for Outriders Worldslayer will be out by the end of July, though we don't have a concrete release date as of this writing.

Fans will be pleased to know that this massive update is making a plethora of requested changes to the game while also doubling down on eradicating some of the loot exploit players have been using. With that said, here are all the changes coming to Outriders Worldslayer in its first post-launch update.

Aside from improving the overall stability of the game, fans can expect quality-of-life features like item locking and improved quick mark functionality. The developers have also mentioned plans to increase stash space in the future though fans shouldn't expect this to be part of the July update.

Another smaller patch is also coming next week to fix some of the bugs that were identified during the game's early access period. People Can Fly plans to reveal the content of this patch on Tuesday 12th July.

Tarya Gratar Reward Changes:

People Can Fly is also realiging Tarya Gratar rewards. This is primarily due to the final boss exploit many players have been using to farm Legendary gear and ignoring other areas of the trial. Here are all the changes you can expect once the big July update drops.

Extra guaranteed Apocalypse Legendary RNG drop in the following Trove areas -

  • Cliffside Path
  • Daughter’s Sanctuary
  • The Arboretum

Reduced final Arbiter’s Apocalypse Legendary drop rate, but the “Choice of Legendary“ reward that appears after defeating the final Arbiter remains unaffected.

After the update, a complete run through all rooms in the Trial will net a player a guaranteed minimum of 9 Apocalypse Legendaries + RNG chances for others.

Outriders Balancing Tweaks:

Aside from changes to the Tarya Gratar rewards, fans can also expect several balancing tweaks to the game. These changes will -

  • Prevent certain builds from one-shotting bosses.
  • Prevent certain builds from becoming indestructible.
  • Prevent certain builds from having non-existent skills cooldown.

Outriders Bug Fixes

As for bug fixes, the upcoming update will fix one major issue in which Tiago's mystery purchase and Elite offer would grant Worldslayer gear to players who don't own the Worldslayer expansion.

Here's what the developers had to say on the matter - "We’ve made a backend change to Tiago’s store that means that it will no longer drop Worldslayer Gear below level 51. It will still be able to drop Apocalypse Variant gear for Worldslayer players at all levels, but this fix means that Base Game players will be able to use Tiago's store with confidence."

That's all the changes coming to Outriders Worldslayer in its first big post-launch update.
