All Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland Event Skins (December 2022)

Let's go over all of the skins that were included in Overwatch's Winter Wonderland, and whether you can get them in Overwatch 2.

All Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland Event Skins (December 2022)

Overwatch is known for its seasonal celebrations, and Overwatch 2, the recently released sequel, follows suit. The next celebration coming up in Overwatch 2 is the Winter Wonderland Christmas celebration, which will take place from 13th December 2022 until 4th January 2023.

During the event, Blizzard Entertainment introduces new game modes, rewards, and skins. Brand new skins might just be the thing that players look forward to most each year, so let's go over all of the skins from the last Overwatch Winter Wonderland event, as well as what players can expect to see this year.

December 14 - Winter Wonderland Live, New Skins Confirmed

So it would appear as though there are three new skins available in 2022.

First is the Epic Ice Queen Brigitte skin, which can be unlocked for completing 6 Winter Wonderland challenges. There's also a Gingerbread Bastion Skin, which you cannot purchase currently, but should be made available in the Overwatch Item shop short.

Finally, whislt it's not new, you can also aquire the Sleighing D.Va Legendary Skin (seen below) as a Twitch Drop reward for watching Overwatch 2 streamers between December 25 to January 4.

December 11 - Winter Wonderland Starts This Week

The Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland event starts this week and hopefully we should have plenty of new skins too.

Starting with the Epic Ice Queen Brigitte skin and the new Gingerbread Bastion Skin. Both of which can be seen just below:

All New 2023 Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland Skins

So far, the only Overwatch 2 2022 Winter Wonderland skin that has been announced is an Epic Ice Queen Brigitte skin. We will definitely get more skins from Blizzard, though, as past events have included as many as eight or nine skins.

It's likely that Blizzard will release more information about which skins will be included as the event nears, so be sure to stay tuned for more information.

They will sometimes be made available in the Overwatch 2 Item Shop, and it's likely they'll be more likely to be pushed more during the game's specific events.

Can You Get Past Winter Wonderland Skins In Overwatch 2?

If you missed some of the past years' Winter Wonderland skins but you've had your eye on them, you might be wondering if you're able to get them in Overwatch 2.

Thankfully, it seems that some of the past skins will be returning to the shop during the Winter Wonderland event. Junkrat's Krampus skin, for example, states that it is "sometimes available in the Shop." It's unknown which other skins might return, but we are excited to find out.
