Overwatch 2's partnership with McDonald's has finally reached Australia after months of leaks and teasers on social media. Australian fans can now purchase limited-time Overwatch meals to unlock the Epic Lightning Tracer Skin.
If you're interested in knowing more about this collaboration and how Australian fans can get the Overwatch 2 skin for Tracer, then keep reading. Below we will be taking you through everything you need to know.
Overwatch 2 McDonald’s Collab Gives Players the Epic Lightning Tracer Skin
For a brief period, three distinctive meals are now only available in Australia. As part of the promotion, customers can purchase a Big Mac Meal, a McChicken Meal, or a 10-Piece Chicken McNuggets Meal. It's important to note that these Overwatch meals can only be ordered via the MyMacca's App.
Whether this Overwatch promotion will travel across the ocean and enter international McDonald's stores is currently unknown. Furthermore, it's impossible to predict when this agreement will expire. The only thing we can be certain of is that the unique Skin that comes with this deal has a "limited number of codes" available, so it's first come, first served.

You can get an in-game bonus by purchasing one of the Overwatch meals mentioned above. The reward for this is the yellow and black Tracer Epic Lightning Skin. While not entirely novel, this choice offers quick access for those who still need to complete their collection of cosmetics, especially considering the skin debuted back in 2018.
How to Get The Overwatch 2 McDonald’s Tracer Skin
Within 48 hours of you picking up your food, McDonald's will email you a special code. You can use the code (which will arrive in the same inbox as your MyMacca's App) to claim your free Tracer skin on BattleNet.
The Tracer Skin cannot be exchanged for anything else if you already own it. So as of right now, the only in-game bonus offered during this promotion in Australia is for the Tracer Skin.
The promotion and collaboration were first discovered by an employee noticing a new Overwatch 2 meal option on their menu. After this, there was no news on the crossover until now, with the crossover promotion being revealed in full with the new "Overwatch 2 meals available down under" promotion on Mcdonald's official website.
So if you're an Overwatch Fan from Australia, this is a promotion worth grabbing for a free Tracer skin to set you apart from the rest in the game.
