Palia En Garde Friendship Quest And Walkthrough

Each Villager in Palia has a series of Friendship quests, which helps players gain a better understanding of them and learn their backstories. Known for his sunny personality and great interest in bugs, Auni is always on the go, seeking out the latest discoveries and sharing his dreams of one day joining the Order.

However, he has a slight problem with his older brother, Nai’o, which causes Auni to prove himself and require the players’ help. Help Auni become a “blade master” and stand up to his brother by completing the En Garde Friendship quest for Palia.

Palia En Garde Friendship Quest Objectives List

En Garde is the first Friendship quest players can unlock after increasing their Friendship with Auni, leader of the Bug Catching Guild and youngest son of Delaila and Badruu. The budding bug enthusiast has a bit of a dilemma when his older brother, Nai’o, is going on a weekend trip to Bahari Bay to view human ruins and explains that he won’t be taking Auni on the trip.

As Auni isn’t speaking to Nai’o, he decides to prove to his older brother that he can defend himself against the dangers of Bahari Bay, and players will be helping Auni realize this plan. To help Auni evade potential danger, let’s look at all the quest objectives that must be met to complete Auni’s Friendship quest, En Garde, in Palia:

• Talk to Sifuu
• Get five Heartwood
• Get five Plant Fiber
• Get one Flint
  • Return to Sifuu
• Deliver Practice Sword to Auni

How To Complete The En Garde Friendship Quest In Palia?

After accepting Auni’s Friendship quest, locate Sifuu at her Forge in the town square during the day or at Ormuu’s Horn Inn at night regarding the Practice Sword. While she refuses to craft an actual iron sword, she’ll settle for a wooden one, which they can help gather the resources required to craft.

Heartwood logs can forage from Evergreen trees (they look like Christmas trees), which are only found in Bahari Bay, while Plant Fiber is obtained from bushes and various trees found everywhere in Kilima Village and Bahari Bay. Lastly, Flint can be collected after mining any node in the regions mentioned above, which they can bring the resources back to Sifuu, where she’ll craft the Practise Sword and add it to their Backpack Inventory.

The last thing left is to deliver the Practise Sword to Auni, who can be found at the clearing in Chaapa Crossing during the day, the Daiya Family Farm, and his treehouse at night. Handing him the Practise Sword will complete the quest, which will increase their Friendship level with Auni, receive 25 Renown, 30 Sneaky Smoke Bombs, and Sticky Smoke Bombs, but don’t forget to speak to Auni and Nai’o post quest to update them on the events that followed.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
