There’s a Secret Puzzle quest tucked away from prying eyes inside the Temple of the Gales that has been worked on while completing the temple’s questline. Players’ curiosity may have been piqued after finding various symbols, similar to those found while completing the sliding puzzle scattered throughout the temple.

These symbols, when discovered, have a large colored Silverwing Egg within the vicinity, which players have struggled to acquire in four different locations. However, unlike the Warm Silverwing Eggs, these eggs aren't acquirable, but they are linked to a secret puzzle that can be discovered on the Main Island. So, here’s how to solve the secret Silverwing Egg puzzle in Palia.

How To Solve The Secret Silverwing Egg Puzzle In Palia

After completing the Silverwing sliding puzzle and completing the Temple of the Gales questline, the doors to a ruin, which can be found west of the Flow Gate on the Main Island when facing the final island, will be unlocked. From this Main Island Flow Gate, go left and glide across using the air current to reach the destroyed platform not far from the next Flow Gate discovered in this area.

Drop down to reach an area with another building and wrap around to find the ruins with their doors unlocked. It’s unclear when these ruin doors will be unlocked, but we advise completing the temple questline until the Eye of the Storm quest and completing the subquests to ensure they will be open for them to explore.

Inside the ruins are the four colored eggs and their associated symbols on four braziers for which players need to fire arrows in a specific order. The order in which to fire arrows at the symbols is according to the lineup that the eggs inside the ruins are found: Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow. The braziers to hit are bottom left, top right, bottom right, and top left.

An Ancient Treasure Chest will appear on the table with the eggs, which can be looted to receive the chest, and a Star-Quality Ancient Cloudminnow to display in homes. Should players mess up the order, the braziers will reset, the puzzle will need to be solved again to claim the rewards.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
