After learning the intriguing secrets inside the Temple of Roots, something bizarre occurs: a mysterious object crashes into the Night Sky Temple. While this event occurs, a new vault is unlocked, thus starting a new quest, Vault of the Roots, for this temple questline.

Now tasked with investigating this interesting event, Einar summoned them to speak with him once they'd returned to Kilima Village. This guide details everything to know about the Vault of the Roots quest, including its objectives and how to complete it in Palia.

Palia Vault Of The Roots Quest Objectives List

Once Palians have successfully learned of the secrets hidden within the Temple of Roots, restored Einar's personality, and solved the mural puzzle to complete the Secret Depths quest, a mysterious event occurs in a stunning new cutscene at the Night Sky Temple. Immediately after completing the Secret Depths quest, they'll receive the following quest, Vault of the Roots, from which they can head to the Night Sky Temple in Kilima Village.

They can also begin investigating the mysterious object within the temple's center. Let's take a look at the objectives required to be completed for the Vault of the Roots quest:

How To Complete The Vault Of The Roots Quest In Palia?

Once they have completed the Secret Depths quest inside the Temple of Roots, discovered its secrets, and solved the sliding mural puzzle, they will receive the subsequent quest in this temple questline, Vault of the Roots. Palians must return to Kilima Village and locate the Night Sky Temple southwest of Hekla's tent in Mirror Fields.

This time, when entering the temple, a mysteriously glowing object is seen at the center; however, they are to speak with Einar, who's found near the Temple of Roots vault. Einar states that following the events within the Temple of Roots, this mysterious object crashed into the temple but cannot explain its purpose or meaning.

As the investigations into this mysterious occurrence will be explored in a separate quest, another vault has been unlocked, and four more bundles have become available. As a reward for unlocking the Temple of Roots bundles, Einar rewards them with an item for one of the bundles to complete: a Rootseeker Medallion, which also completes the Vault of the Roots quest.
