Pokémon GO Searching For Gold Research Day: Start Time, Featured Pokémon & More

Pokémon GO has received many updates throughout its lifespan as players play through every single season of Pokémon GO, discovering new Pokemon added in-game. There are also plenty of different events that happen during each season that are worth doing because they give out some pretty unique rewards.

One of the more anticipated events in Pokémon GO is the Research Days, which feature a couple of Pokemon with a chance to catch Shiny versions. One of the upcoming Research Days is called Searching for Gold Research Day, as we will review everything we know about the forthcoming Research Day.

Pokémon GO Searching For Gold Research Day: Event Dates & Times

The first event for Pokémon GO’s Season of Hidden Gems will have Trainers pursuing something more valuable than gold: plenty of Pokémon. The Searching for Gold Research Day event will be active in-game on 3rd June 2023 between 2 pm and 5 pm local time to complete various treasure-hunting activities and be rewarded.

There are also event bonuses that will be activated for this event, as various PokéStops may turn gold without needing the Golden Lure Module. As a result, Roaming Form Gimmighoul won’t be spawning near PokéStops that weren’t activated with a Golden Lure Module; however, they can still find Gimmighoul Coins by spinning the Photo Discs at PokéStops.

Lastly, an event-exclusive Timed Research will be available to complete during the Searching for Gold Research Day event until 3rd June 2023 at 5 pm local time. Available to buy from the in-game Shop for $1,00 or equivalent to your local currency, you are to claim and finish the assigned tasks to earn reward encounters with Barboach*, Caterpie*, Magikarp*, Nosepass*, and Sableye*.
