Since the introduction of the in-game competition event, Showcases, during the Season of Hidden Gems in July 2023, Niantic has made these events a frequent occurrence for Trainers. As Trainers have enjoyed competing with their eligible Pokémon against fellow Trainers, they were also allowed to trade, transfer, evolve, or swap out their Pokémon when entering a Showcase event.

For the Season of Adventures Abound, these Showcase events will occur every week, with some of the featured Pokémon appearing in various events, including Raids, Spotlight Hours, and the upcoming Día de Muertos/Day of the Dead event. November’s Showcase events will take place over two to four days between 10 am and 8 pm local time, for which Trainers can earn various rewards.
