However, Pokemon GO will always be a game that is primarily focused on catching Pokemon you find. With that being said, that is why shiny hunting is so popular in Pokemon GO.

Finding a shiny Pokemon is a special moment for players simply due to how rare the Pokemon are. That is why events are the perfect time to try to shiny hunt special Pokemon. Yes, you can catch shiny Tapu Lele in Pokemon GO during the Valentine's Day event. This is also the very first time that shiny Tapu Lele will be available in Pokemon GO. So this is an event that many players around the world will want to take advantage of if they want to find and catch Shiny Tapu Lele.

How Do I Get Shiny Tapu Lele In Pokemon GO?

The first thing that you need to do is know when the Valentine's Day event starts. This upcoming event in Pokemon GO begins on February 8 and lasts until February 14. Once it hits the 15th, your chances of catching a shiny Tapu Lele vanishes.

Now that you know when the event is, now it is time to learn how to actually catch shiny Tapu Lele. You will need to beat Tapu Lele in a 5-Star raid battle. This is the only way you can catch a shiny Tapu Lele in Pokemon GO. There are a couple of things you need to remember before attempting this.

Number one is that you will not know if Tapu Lele is shiny or not until you actually beat the raid boss. Another thing you need to know is that since it is a 5-Star raid, you will need other people to take down this raid as well. So if you work with a group of people, you will eventually be able to get shiny Tapu Lele with no problem.
