How To Get Galarian Meowth In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet

If you've been participating in any Tera Raid battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you may have come across an interesting sight. A lot of people are using Galarian Meowth's evolution - Perrserker - to one-shot five and six-star Raids with ease. But neither of these Pokémon is in the Paldean Pokédex, so you may be wondering how to get Galarian Meowth in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. 

Well, you're in luck! This article will cover the steps you need to take in order to obtain your very own Galarian Meowth in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Hopefully, soon you can start one-shotting Raid bosses like the rest of them!

How To Get Galarian Meowth In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet 

Getting Galarian Meowth in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is actually really easy and requires little to no effort on your part. Firstly, you want to head to Mesagoza and go to the school. From there, you will want to sign up for the Language class. If you go through all the Language classes and pass the exams, the teacher - Salvatore - will gift you a Galarian Meowth!

You will need to have several classes before your mid-term exam and then a few more classes before your finals. Take note that Salvatore will ask you a question in every class, but it doesn't matter what answer you give to these, so feel free to mash through the text as quickly as possible!

However, you will need 3/5 correct answers on both exams to pass. Here are the answers below:

Mid-term:

• Thank You
• Délicieux
• Time to eat
• Compliment them
• Salvatore

Finals:

• Délicieux
• I love you
• Anger
• Happiness
• Salvatore

After this, you will need to speak with Salvatore at several locations across the campus. Do this enough times to receive your gift!

Is Galarian Meowth Good In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet?

Galarian Meowth, and more specifically, its evolution Perrserker, is one of the best Raid Pokémon in the game! Its Hidden Ability, Steely Spirit, gives a stackable 50% damage increase to all Steel-type attacks, allowing teams of four Perserrkers to one-shot Raid bosses!

You can use the Galarian Meowth given to you by Salvatore as long as it is EV-trained and Hyper Trained accordingly (and given an Adamant Mint). Unfortunately, this gift Meowth does not come with Steely Spirit. So, you will have to acquire an Ability Patch via five and six-star Raids to change its ability (Purchasable Ability Capsules cannot unlock Hidden Abilities).

If you don't want to use Bottle Caps for Hyper Training, you can also breed for a perfect IV Galarian Meowth. In order to do this, make sure your Galarian Meowth is holding an Everstone; otherwise, you will receive a Kantonian Meowth instead.
