An important competitive move that players often use on their teams is Sunny Day and here, we will teach you how to get the Sunny Day TM in Scarlet and Violet.
How To Find The Sunny Day TM In Scarlet And Violet
Sunny Day is a move where you change the weather which will power up fire-type moves and weaken water-type moves. Finding TMs is relatively easy in Scarlet and Violet but TM 049 only spawns in certain areas. Here is a list of different locations where you can find TM 049 in Scarlet and Violet:
- Cabo Poco
- East Province Area One
- West Province Area One
You will want to travel all over the area to find Sunny Day. If you are hunting down TMs specifically, they are pretty easy to spot. Most items look like Red Pokeballs when they are in the overworld. TMs look like Yellow Pokeballs. So long as you are in the listed above areas, you should be able to find TM 049.
How To Craft TM 049 Sunny Day In Scarlet And Violet
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you actually have the ability to craft TMs so long as you have the items for them. If you are interested in competitive Pokemon, having more than one Sunny Day TM will be essential. You will need to collect some items from Pokemon to make Sunny Day. Here are the items you need to make the Sunny Day TM:
- 3000 LP
- Sunkern Leaf x 3
- Torkoal Coal x 3
- Litleo Tuft x 3
Sunny Day is a more expensive recipe since the effects of the TM are so good. There are a lot of different ways that you can get the above items. The best way to do so is by finding wild Pokemon and using the Let's Go Feature that will allow you to quickly knock out Pokemon without having to actually battle them.
