New Pokémon Snap: How to unlock all islands and stages

Lots of Pokémon and fascinating areas await you in the Lental region. Learn how to unlock all of its islands and stages in this guide.

The map of the Lental region within New Pokémon Snap is divided into six islands, in which you can find all kinds of Pokémon in different habitats and locations, with which you can interact and capture with your camera.

Initially, only Florio Island, where Professor Mirror's laboratory is located, will be available, so you will have to use your skills in photography to be able to unlock the next available islands and stages.

New Pokémon Snap: Research Level & Expedition Points

In order to advance in the game, you will have to take into account two important concepts: Research Level and Expedition Points. The Research Level is responsible for measuring your effort and skill within the game, being something like your level of experience acquired.

To increase your Research Level, you will have to obtain Expedition Points through the photos you take on your expeditions, but be careful with this, since the game’s system will only allow you to earn points for the photos you have registered in your album.

For this reason, it is always advisable to use the best photographs within your expeditions, as well as it is important to improve the quality of your photos, so here you can check our guide on how to take the best photos and obtain a better rank in them.
