The Pokémon Legends: Arceus fever is high after its highly anticipated. Trainers are hyped for everything the game has to offer, including the exclusive Hisuian designs of Decidueye, Samurott and Typhlosion.

Of course, the excitement is only natural since there is plenty to be excited about as players venture off into the Hisui region to explore new grounds in their quest to become Pokémon masters; while making Poké-friends (and foes) along the way.

The first decision Trainers must make, as always, is who will be their first ally joining them in their  Pokémon adventures? This guide will focus on examining everything Hisuian Typhlosion has to offer in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus - Typhlosion evolution and base stats

Typhlosion is the final evolution of an old friend from the Johto region, Cyndaquil, one of the starters in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Cyndaquil will do the standard evolution to Quilava once it reaches level 14 and will later evolve into Typhlosion when it gets to level 36. But don't get scared because Typhlosion has a unique evolution in Hisui.

Hisuian Typhlosion, as opposed to its Johto counterpart, is both a Ghost-type and Fire-type Pokémon. Of course, this expands the possibilities of its move set and range of effectiveness against opponents.

These are Hisuian Typhlosion base stats:

  • HP: 73
  • ATK: 84
  • DEF: 78
  • SP. ATK: 119
  • SP. DEF: 85
  • SPEED: 95

There is a slight decrease in the Hisuian Typhlosion's Health compared to the Jotoh version (73 HP versus 79 HP). However, the Hisuian Typhlosion has superior Special Attack base points, going from 109 to 119, which will be helpful in our adventure.

Can you find Typhlosion in the wild in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

Most people tend to go with the fire starter, but if you instead prefer to pick Oshawott or Rowlet, then you'll be happy to know that you can find both Quilava and Typhlosion in the wild.

You can always turn to hunt shiny Pokémons in the wild, especially with the space-time rifts lurking around. (Picture: Game Freak)

Now, don't get us wrong, this is no easy task as they can only be found around space-time rifts.

Indeed, players have a slight chance of finding shiny Quilava and Typhlosions this way, much like any other Pokémon, so be on the lookout for those cracks in the sky.

If you haven't played Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you should go to their official website and score a copy of the game that everyone is talking about right now.
