Pokémon Day virtual concert announced with Post Malone

The Pokémon Company is going all out to celebrate the 25th anniversary, with Post Malone set to play a virtual concert for Pokémon Day.
The Pokémon Company has announced Post Malone will feature in a special virtual concert to celebrate Pokémon Day.

The virtual concert will take place 27th February at 7pm EST/4pm PST, and will see Post Malone feature as shown by the trailer below.

It’s likely Katy Perry could be involved in some capacity too, considering she’s partnered with Pokémon to release tracks to commemorate the 25th anniversary.

The event will be streamed across the official Pokémon YouTube and Twitch channels.

But will it top the virtual gigs hosted in Fortnite from the likes of Travis Scott? Post Malone singing the Pokémon theme would certainly give it a run for its money, let’s be honest.

There’s set to be even more celebrations for Pokémon’s 25th anniversary too, with the release of New Pokémon Snap in April and rumours of Diamond and Pearl remakes on the horizon.

You can catch the action on Pokémon Day on 27th February.
