Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Finale event is available to all Trainers globally as they explore the various in-game experiences for free or as a ticket holder. This limited-time event marks the debut of the Shiny Munna in-game despite its previous appearances not having its Shiny form available.

Should Trainers be lucky, there are ways to catch the Psychic-type Pokémon during the event, providing ample chances to encounter it. This guide details if Shiny Munna is available in Pokémon GO and how to catch it.

Is There A Shiny Munna In Pokémon GO?

Yes, there is -- but only for a limited period. Accordingly, Trainers have a chance to catch a Shiny Munna during the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Finale event. Munna and its Shiny form appear in-game for the first time in the wild and in various exclusive activities.

There are also opportunities to receive a Shiny Munna as a reward when completing these activities, like in the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Finale Special Research. Previously unavailable in its Shiny form, this should be a huge treat for those looking to add a Shiny Munna to their PokéDex.

How To Catch Shiny Munna In Pokémon GO?

Munna appears in-game for the first time in its Shiny form, so a bit of luck is required to obtain this Pokémon. Available in Nihilego’s Ultra Incursion habitat for one day, the featured habitat will appear between 4 pm and 6 pm local time on 27th August 2022.

Secondly, Munna can be hatched from 7km Eggs for the Ultra Incursion: Nihilego habitat during the specified time listed above. Trainers can also receive a Munna when completing the event-exclusive Special Research event, Willow’s Return.

After successfully finishing the first part of this Special Research event, the second part will unlock in which the tasks listed below need to be completed. Once the Willow’s Return Special Research event ends, Trainers can receive a Munna as a reward.

• Catch Pokémon using three Berries
• Charge up three different Pokémon
• Use a Charged Technical Machine (TM)

For the Field Research event for the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Finale, a Munna can be earned as one of the rewards from several tasks upon completion. This Field Research will occur during the Ultra Incursion: Nihilego habitat between 4 pm and 6 pm local time; the specific tasks are provided below:

• Hatching an Egg
• Power up a maximum of five Rock-type Pokémon
• Power up a maximum of five Poison-type Pokémon
• Earn a win from a raid

Lastly, the Collection Challenge will award a Munna once they’ve caught various Pokémon when the Ultra Incursion: Nihilego habitat is active. After catching or acquiring Munna, to evolve it to Musharna requires 50 Candy and an Unova Stone to complete the evolution.
