The Pokémon GO Fest 2022 has been a huge success for Niantic and has given fans tons of fun to enjoy worldwide and locally where some of the events were held. The fest is having one final event to round off the summer of catching and trading Pokémon and it's gearing up to be an exciting send-off.

Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Finale Event - Everything you Need to Know

Trainers will be able to battle four Ultra Beasts, meet the Mythical Sky Forme Shaymin, and enjoy four distinct habitats with themed wild spawns to catch during the Pokémon Go Fest 2022 Finale.

You'll find all the information you need to prepare for the Pokémon Go Fest 2022 Finale event below, including dates and times as well as the differences between the ticketed and free experiences.

Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Finale Event - Date and Time

The Pokémon Go Fest 2022 Finale will take place on 27th August 2022, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is no need to convert time zones because this is in each trainer's local time.

Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Finale Event - Event Tickets

If you purchased a ticket for the main Pokémon Go Fest event in June 2022, you do not need to purchase a ticket for the Finale event because it was included with your original ticket.

If you did not purchase a ticket for the main Pokémon Go Fest event, you can purchase a Finale ticket from the in-game shop for $10.99. Alternatively, you can simply enjoy the day's free features.

Below are the features that you will be able to enjoy during the Pokémon GO Fest Finale Event regardless of whether you have purchased a ticket or not: 

Special Research Story

During the Finale event, players will be able to enjoy a short Special Research story. You can claim it at any time before the event ends by logging in.

New Shiny Pokémon

Shiny Munna will be available for the first time in Pokémon Go during the Go Fest 2022 Finale event if you're lucky!

There will be four themed Habitats spawning throughout the day, and during each themed Habitat, a special costumed Pikachu wearing a Shaymin-inspired scarf will appear. Below are the spawn schedules:

10 am - 12 pm

• Habitat - Ultra Incursion: Pheromosa

• Spawns - Anorith, Hitmontop, Karrablast, Kricketot, Meditite, Pinsir, Scyther, Sudowoodo, and Woobat

12 pm – 2 pm

• Habitat - Ultra Incursion: Buzzwole

• Spawns - Axew, Cranidos, Drilbur, Geodude, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Machop, Magmar, and Numel

2 pm – 4 pm

• Habitat - Ultra Incursion: Xurkitree

• Spawns - Burmy (Sandy), Combee, Electabuzz, Electrike, Foongus, Galarian Stunfisk, Joltik, Lileep, Shelmet, and Shinx

4 pm – 6 pm

• Habitat - Ultra Incursion:

• Spawns - Bulbasaur, Burmy (Plant), Chansey, Chikorita, Clefairy, Frillish, Munna, Omanyte, Skrelp, Swirlix, Tangela, Tentacool, and Turtwig

Ultra Beasts Appearances in Raid Battles

During the Finale event, four different Ultra Beasts will appear in 5-Star Raids, as shown in the schedule below:

10 am – 12 pm: Pheromosa

12 pm – 2 pm: Buzzwole

2 pm – 4 pm: Xurkitree

4 pm – 6 pm: Nihilego

Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Finale Event - Paid For Ticket Features

If you have paid for the tickets to the event, then you will be able o access some premium features that you can check out below: 

Special Research stories with Sky Forme Shaymin

During the Finale event, three additional brief Special Research stories will be made available to ticket holders in addition to the free Special Research story.

When you finish all four of these stories, Sky Forme Shaymin will appear to you and reward you with avatar items like an Ultra Recon Squad helmet without a vizor and a Sky Forme Shaymin shirt.

Habitat Incense Spawns

If you own a ticket, there will be some special Incense spawns that you can find in each Habitat as listed below: 

10 am -12 pm

• Habitat - Ultra Incursion: Pheromosa

• Incense Spawns - Galarian Mr. Mime, Pansage, Unown B, Unown G, Unown N, Unown O, Unown P, Unown S, and Unown X

12 pm - 2 PM

• Habitat - Ultra Incursion: Buzzwole

• Incense Spawns - Pansear, Torkoal, Unown B, Unown G, Unown N, Unown O, Unown P, Unown S, and Unown X

2 pm - 4 pm

• Habitat - Ultra Incursion: Xurkitree

• Incense Spawns - Klink, Unown B, Unown G, Unown N, Unown O, Unown P, Unown S, and Unown X

4 pm - 6 pm

• Habitat - Ultra Incursion: Nihilego

• Incense Spawns - Frillish, Panpour, Tropius, Unown B, Unown G, Unown N, Unown O, Unown P, Unown S, and Unown X

Free Raid Passes

Throughout the Finale event, ticket holders can earn up to nine free Raid Passes by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms. These can only be used for in-person Raids and not for those playing globally. 

Bonuses

There will also be a couple of extra bonuses to sweeten the pot for those who have purchased the ticket as shown below: 

• If you're lucky, Shiny Unown N & Unown X will be able to be found for the first time in Pokémon GO!

• Earn up to nine free Daily Raid Passes by spinning photo discs at gyms. These are only usable for physical raids.

• For a surprise, take up to five pictures while the event is happening!

• When you succeed in an actual raid, you can gain an extra 5,000 XP in raid rewards!

• During event hours, incense will burn for two hours.

• At PokéStops and Gyms, spinning Photo Discs awards 3 XP.

• When eggs are placed in incubators during event hours, there is a 1/2 hatch distance.

• Trainers who have Sky Forme Shaymin will be able to transform it into Land Forme Shaymin starting at 10:00 a.m. local time, and vice versa!
