Pokémon GO x Pokémon TCG crossover event - Featured Pokemon, challenges, more

Pokémon GO has a lot of differences from the Pokémon Trading Card Game, from how it's played to how some Pokémon look. For a special, limited-time event, however, Pokémon GO is teaming up with the Pokémon TCG to create some awesome events and bonuses for fans.

Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Pokémon GO x Pokémon TCG crossover event, and which Pokémon will be featured.

Pokémon GO x Pokémon TCG Crossover Event - Schedule

The Pokémon GO x Pokémon TCG crossover event is being announced as the Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO expansion coming soon.

The event will last from 16th June 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to 30th June 2022 at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Pokémon GO x Pokémon TCG Crossover Event - Featured Pokémon 

A variety of Pokémon will be featured during the crossover event, with some of them making their debut and others appearing more often in the wild.

Pokémon debuts

Wimpod, Golisopod, and Pikachu wearing a Pokémon TCG hat will all make their debuts during this event.

Wild encounters

The following Pokémon will be appearing more often in the wild during the crossover event:

• Bulbasaur
• Ivysaur
• Charmeleon
• Squirtle
• Wartortle
• Alolan Rattata
• Pikachu wearing a Pokémon TCG hat
• Slowpoke
• Magikarp
• Eevee
• Spinarak
• Aipom
• Numel
• Bidoof
• Pidove
• Wimpod
• Onix
• Chansey
• Snorlax
• Dragonite
• Slaking

Other featured Pokémon

Lunatone and Solrock will also be specially featured during this event thanks to their recent release in the Pokémon TCG. Both of these will be available in the wild throughout the event, and after the event ends, Lunatone and Solrock will be exclusively available in the Western and Eastern Hemispheres respectively.

The following Pokémon will be appearing in raids throughout the duration of the event.

One-Star Raids

• Chansey 
• Larvitar
• Timburr
• Wimpod

Three-Star Raids

• Alolan Exeggutor 
• Snorlax
• Dragonite 
• Slaking

Five-Star Raids

• Mewtwo

Mega Raids

• Mega Venusaur 
• Mega Charizard X
• Mega Charizard Y
• Mega Blastoise

In these Mega Raids, trainers can experience the game's recent updates to Mega Raids that were implemented just a few months ago.
