American esports team beastcoast have made it to their first Rainbow Six Siege Major Grand Finals.

Beastcoast Set For R6 Major Grand Finals Debut — Ubisoft, João F.

Originally toted as the tournament underdog, American esports team beastcoast have made it to their first Major Grand Finals, after decimating crowd favorite Team Liquid at the R6 Manchester Major 2024 Semifinals.

Ahead of the match, beastcoast's Shaun "Gunnar" Pottorff noted that he had never made it past the Semifinals stage in a Major, having been knocked out with previous team Soniqs in both the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen 2023 and BLAST R6 Major Atlanta 2023. Gunnar joined beastcoast in March 2024.

During yesterday's Quarterfinals, beastcoast managed to topple Brazilian team FaZe Clan in a devastating 0 : 2 win. During today's Semifinals, the team set their sights on another Brazilian org, Team Liquid, dishing out an equally damning performance and walking away with another 0 : 2 win.

Beastcoast will now go on to the Grand Finals on Sunday, May 26, where they'll face-off against Team BDS, after their 2 : 0 win against DarkZero.
