Is there Rainbow Six Extraction single player campaign?

Can you play Rainbow Six Extraction solo? Rainbow Six Extraction offers an exciting tactical co-op shooter experience, but can you play through those missions alone? Let's see what we know about the single-player campaign.
Is there Rainbow Six Extraction single player campaign?

Rainbow Six Extraction is here, bringing to Rainbow Six fans around the world an opportunity to finally experience a new game in the franchise after almost seven years.

While many fans today know Rainbow Six for the highly popular esports title Rainbow Six Siege, the Rainbow Six franchise is over 24 years old, with over 20 various stand-alone games and expansions.

And although today many associate Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six with the competitive multiplayer, older Rainbow Six games were known for their engaging single-play campaigns focused on signature stealth and tactics mechanics of the franchise.

Rainbow Six Extraction is bringing back the story campaign aspect to the table, packed in PvE co-op gameplay, but if you don't have friends to play with, or you simply want to play those missions alone, is there a possibility for that?

Let's see what are your options.

Can you play Rainbow Six Extraction solo?

Well... kinda.

The good news, if you want to play Rainbow Six Extraction alone, is that the game does support that option, and you will be able to play standard (otherwise co-op) missions alone with two other bots that will be assigned once you start the mission if you don't have two other human players in your squad.

So technically, yes, you can play alone.

But if you were hoping for a dedicated single-player story mode, you will be disappointed. Rainbow Six Extraction doesn't have a single-player campaign designed specifically for one person to play it.

At launch, there will be 13 missions in total, each with three unique sub-levels and three randomized tasks to complete. These missions are balanced with a 3-player PvE co-op play in mind from the very beginning of the game's development, and they are simply not designed to be played as a typical single-player mission.

Because of that, if you really want to play Rainbow Six Extraction, we strongly advise you to play these missions with two other players, as they are best experienced that way.
If you have some friends who might be interested but are on the fence about buying it, you can use your Buddy Pass tokens to invite them to play with you for free for 14 days!
Alternatively, if they are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, you should let them know that Rainbow Six Extraction is available on Game Pass at no additional charge.

And there you have it, that's all you need to know about the Rainbow Six Extraction single-player campaign.
