The Six Berlin Major 2022 will be the first Rainbow Six Siege Major with a live audience in Europe since the Pro League Season 9 Finals hosted at Palazzo del Ghiaccio, Milan. Organized by Ubisoft and FACEIT, the tournament will feature a $500,000 prize pool.

The event will host 16 teams from various parts of the world, including Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America. Six Berlin Major 2022 - Schedule, Tickets, Format

The Six Berlin Major 2022 will run from 15th until 21st August 2022. Here are the dates for different phases of the tournament:

• Group Stage: 15th to 17th August 2022.
• Playoffs: 19th to 20th August 2022.
• Grand Final: 21st August 2022.

Ticketing

After a long time, Rainbow Six Siege fans can finally attend the event offline at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, Germany. You can purchase the tickets here. Here's a closer look at the categories of tickets available.

• Gold (€55) - 3-day pass with an allocated seat number in the Gold section
• Platinum (€75): 3-day pass with an allocated seat number in the Platinum section
• Diamond (€89): 3-day pass with an allocated seat number in the Diamond section
• Champions (€179): 3-day pass with an allocated seat number in the Champions section

Format

The Group Stage will feature a double round-robin format, and all games will be played as a BO1. This stage will comprise four groups of four teams, each carrying a unique regional seed. As a result, no group will have two teams from the same region. The top two teams from each group will book a place in the Playoffs.

The Playoffs will comprise a single-elimination format, with each game being played as a BO3. In addition, random seeding will occur for the teams from the Group Stages. Finally, the Grand Finals will be played as a BO5.

Six Berlin Major 2022 - Prize Pool

As mentioned earlier, the Six Berlin Major 2022 will have a $500,000 prize pool. However, teams will also get Six Invitational Global Points. Here is the full breakdown of the prize pool and points distribution:

• 1st - $200,000 and 375 points
• 2nd - $80,000 and 300 points
• 3rd to 4th - $40,000 and 230 points
• 5th to 8th - $20,000 and 165 points
• 9th-12th - $10,000 and 105 points
• 13th-16th - $5,000 and 50 points
