Red Dead Redemption 2's online mode, Red Dead Online, doesn't receive large updates often - but Rockstar often brings out the big guns for events like Halloween and Christmas.
Here's everything you need to know about this month's Red Dead Online October 2022 updates, including a brand new telegram mission.

Update 28th October 2022: The Red Dead Online Halloween Pass ends in just three days, on 31st October! If you haven't earned all of the rewards across the Halloween Pass' 15 tiers, now is the best time for you to do so. Otherwise, you will have to wait another year to earn the Halloween-themed rewards on the frontier!
Remember that if you complete all 15 tiers of the Halloween Pass 2 on or before Halloween 2022, you will receive a free Hired Gun Kit. This package includes the Fierro Bandana, ammo and consumables, and Capitale valued at 5 Gold Bars.
The Halloween Call to Arms modes and bonuses from Ike Skelding's Hardcore Telegram Missions will also end on 31st October 2022, so be sure to get your playtime in before Halloween!
New Telegram Mission
A new hardcore telegram mission is coming for Red Dead Online players starting 18th October 2022.

Once the Halloween Hardcore Telegram Mission is available, you will receive an inbox at the Post Office (or you can check your mail at your Camp Lockbox).
Until 31st October, all of Ike Skelding's Hardcore Telegram Missions reward bonuses including 3X Gold, RDO$, and XP.
Halloween Pass 2
The Halloween Pass 2 will be available until 31st October 2022. If you started on the Halloween Pass last year, you'll be able to pick it up now and continue.
There are 15 levels including various Halloween-themed cosmetic and resource items.
If you purchase the Halloween Pass 2 and unlock all the ranks - whether you completed it last year or do it this year - you'll receive a free Hired Gun Kit.
All Hallows Eve Call To Arms
There will be three new Call To Arms locations in the Heartland Oil Fields, Limpany, and Saint Denis Graveyard starting in October.
Players will receive 3X RDO$ and XP on All Hallows' Call To Arms modes throughout the whole month.
Halloween Featured Series
Players will receive 3X rewards on Halloween Featured Series, including Fear of the Dark and Dead of Night.
The following bonuses will also be available throughout the month.
- October 4 – 10: Hardcore Halloween Series 1 (Dead of Night)

Additional Bonuses
There are even more bonuses available throughout the month of October to celebrate Halloween in Red Dead Online.
In the Manhunt Bounty Hunter Free Roam Event, players will get to enjoy a themed event and will receive 2X Gold, RDO$, and XP.
The following bonuses will also be active:
- Receive 2 Potent Health Cures per week just by logging in
- Participating in All Hallows’ Call to Arms any week this month will earn defenders 4 Gun Oil
- Play Red Dead Online the week of Halloween (October 25 – October 31) to receive 2 Potent Snake Oil, 3 pieces of Big Game Meat, and 25 Capitale
- Red Mane and Tail options are free for all horses all month long
