Red Dead Redemption Social Club Trophies Get Updated, Fuelling Remaster Rumors

Red Dead Redemption Remaster rumors have been running at an all-time high recently thanks to the game being freshly rated in Korea earlier this week, and now a remastered image on the Rockstar Social Club for Red Dead Redemption trophies could indicate that those previous discussions were accurate.

Red Dead Redemption isn't currently playable on modern platforms without backward compatibility. You can buy the game on Xbox to play on your Xbox Series X, but you can't actually play the game on a PlayStation platform currently, and it's impossible to legally play the game on a PC. A remaster would allow players who got into the series with Red Dead Redemption 2 to finally experience the first game in the series (well, not if you count Red Dead Revolver, but that's neither here nor there), and could open up a whole new market for Rockstar and Take-Two.

Obviously, this is tenuous. It could just be that Rockstar made new artwork for the Rockstar Social Club trophies, and not that they're actually making a remastered version of Red Dead Redemption. Still, it seems a rather big coincidence that the game would get newly rated in Korea and the trophies for the Social Club would get a new image in the same exact week.
