Resident Evil 4: How To Get Church Key

Locked doors with strange murals that won't open without an equally strange and stylish key are frequent events in the Resident Evil games, and Resident Evil 4 is no different in this regard.

Every so often, you will encounter a locked door that requires a key or a mechanism to open. One of the early obstacles in your path in Resident Evil 4 is the church gate in Chapter 3. As you probably know, Ashley, aka Baby Eagle, is being kept as a hostage in this church, which is why getting into it is even more important. You can find the church in the mural cave in chapter 4 of Resident Evil 4. However, the key is locked behind an altar in the mural cave. You have to place two objects here to unlock the altar and get the church key. These objects are the Apostate's Head and Blasphemer's Head.

You can find the Apostate's Head in the Large Cave Shrine. Unfortunately, it's locked behind a door with a mechanism involving strange symbols.

You can find Blasphemer's Head in the Small Cave Shrine. Like the Apostate's Head, it's locked behind a door with a mechanism involving similar symbols.

Once you have acquired both heads, get them back to the mural cave and place them at the altar to receive the church key.
