Resident Evil 4 is a challenging game, though if you're looking to up the stakes even further, there is a new game plus mode for you to devour.
Resident Evil 2 & 3 remakes didn't have an NG+ mode, so if you're coming off those games, you may be wondering what this mode has to offer. If so, you're in the right place. Here's everything you need to know about the New Game Plus mode in Resident Evil 4.
Everything About Resident Evil 4's NG+ mode
Firstly, the New Game Plus mode is available once you have beaten the regular RE 4 campaign at any difficulty. If you beat the game at hardcore difficulty, you unlock a new Professional difficulty mode.
At Professional difficulty, there is no autosave, and parrying is limited to perfect parries. However, all weapons and weapon modifications you may have acquired in your previous playthrough will carry over and will be available to use from the beginning. It will also include Attache case upgrades, gold coins, healing items, and previously acquired recipes.
Furthermore, you can buy back the upgraded weapons you may have sold to the merchant in your previous playthrough. Lastly, your CP (Challenge Points) won't reset, so you can continue to purchase weapons and other items from the Extra Content Shop.
And that's pretty much everything you need to know about the New Game Plus mode in Resident Evil 4.
