It's much harder to navigate during the night during the day, making it important to know how long each one lasts so you can plan ahead to survive. How Long Is A Day In SCP 3008?

In SCP 3008, one typical day lasts six minutes, or 360 seconds. Sometimes, a day might be just a little shorter or longer because of server lag. However, this doesn't happen too often, so players will usually find that the day does last an exact six minutes before night begins.

The other daytime phase - a Foggy Day - also lasts 6 minutes, although it'll be harder to navigate and there are other changes in this day mode. For instance, employees will now chase players as they would at nighttime; although they will move much more slowly.

How Long Is A Night In SCP 3008?

One night in 3008 lasts 5 minutes, though server lag can cause this to differ by just a few seconds. Server lag occurs more often at night than during the day, but it isn't too frequent of an occurrence; it's just something to look out for if you're counting the seconds of night and wonder where the odd two or three came from.

Like the daytime, there are also two nighttime phases; aside from the regular nighttime phase, there's also the Deadly Night. However, also like the two daytime phases, the second nighttime phase doesn't differ in length from the first; it'll last 5 minutes.
