Recently, a new mode called Block Hunt has been added to Bedwars, which adds a twist to the gameplay. In this mode, some players are seekers who have to find and tag all the hiders, while others are hiders who can disguise themselves as blocks and try to survive until the end of the game.
Block Hunt mode is more than just hide-and-seek, as each player gets to use special abilities that make the game more exciting. With that said, here's a detailed guide on how to play Block Hunt mode in Roblox Bedwars.
To play the new Block Hunt mode in Bedwars, you need to open the game and select the Block Hunt mode from the menu. You can either join an existing game or create your own private game with your friends.
The game will start with a group of players, some of whom will be randomly assigned as seekers and others as hiders. The seekers will spawn in a base with a hunter shop, while the hiders will spawn in a random location on the map.
If you are a seeker, your goal is to find and tag all the hiders before time runs out. You can use various tools and abilities to help you locate and catch the hiders, such as a compass that points towards the nearest hider.
You can use this to track down the hiders and follow their movements. Seekers will also get the tagger ability that allows them to tag a hider by hitting them with their swords. Once tagged, the hider will lose their disguise and become visible to all seekers.
You can also tag multiple hiders at once by using your sword’s special ability. You can buy these tools from the hunter shop with coins that you earn by defeating enemy hiders and also gain 40 coins by killing a hider.
If you are a hider, your goal is to hide from the seekers and avoid being tagged until the end of the game. You can disguise yourself as any block in the game environment by right-clicking on it. It's worth noting that you can't change your location once the round begins.
However, you can use various abilities and items to assist you in hiding or fighting back against the seekers. This includes an audio taunt that plays a random sound effect in your location. You can use this to distract or confuse the seekers or lure them into a trap.
Luckily, the game enables you to buy these items from the hider shop with coins that you earn by using taunts or killing seekers. You can gain 5 coins by using an audio taunt, 10 coins by using a firework taunt, and 100 coins by killing a seeker.
The game ends when either all hiders are tagged or time runs out. If all hiders are tagged, the seekers win. If time runs out, the remaining hiders win.
