Grow A Garden Corrupted Kitsune: How To Get & Passive Ability

Corruption is spreading in Grow A Garden—and it’s got nine tails. The Corrupted Kitsune is one of the most powerful new pets added after the Corrupted Event. What's more, it's packed with a passive that literally wipes mutations clean and replaces them with something far more dangerous.

But unlocking it isn’t as simple as cracking open a chest. Here's everything I know so far about how to unlock the Corrupted Kitsune in Grow A Garden and what its passive ability does in the game.

You can only get the Corrupted Kitsune in Grow A Garden by hatching it from a Corrupted Zen Egg (0.3% chance) or via the Kitsune Chest or the Exotic Kitsune Chest (both 1% chance) after the Corrupted Event update on 26th July 2025. While it's not as rare as a regular Kitsune, it's still quite hard to roll.

The Kitsune Chest can be obtained by combining and submitting Tranquil and Corrupted fruits to tree in the middle of the gardening area. Otherwise, you'll have to cough up Robux on the premium Exotic Kitsune Chest. Either way, you’ll need luck—and a lot of it.

The Corrupted Kitsune periodically removes 9 mutations from 9 different fruits across your plot. After wiping the board, it also applies Corrupted Chakra (15x multiplier) to one random fruit. There’s also a small chance that it upgrades this to Corrupted Foxfire Chakra (90x multiplier)!

It's basically the exact opposite of the Kitsune in Grow A Garden, which spreads and shares mutations. This one strips them away and rebuilds in its own corrupted image. With a hunger stat of 50,000, it also ranks among the most demanding pets to maintain, so be ready to feed it.
