The Moon Melon was originally locked behind the limited-time Blood Moon Shop, but it’s now back and easier to get than ever. You can now earn Moon Melon seeds in Grow A Garden by participating in the Summer Harvest event, which runs at the top of every hour.

All you have to do is submit Summer crops (like Green Apple, Avocado, Loquat, etc.) to the Harvest Cart. The more plants you contribute,  the better your reward tier will be. Once the event ends, you’ll receive a prize bundle, including a Moon Melon Seed if you're lucky.

It's important to note that it is not a guaranteed drop, but it’s currently the only way to get Moon Melon in Grow A Garden (if you don't have one already). If you’re hunting it, join populated servers and grind out as many harvest events as possible.

The Moon Melon is a mythical, multi-harvest, night-type crop that’s often used as a substitute for Candy Blossom. And it’s easy to see why. A standard Moon Melon sells for about 16.5k Sheckles, but with the right setup (sprinklers + mutations), it can produce fruits worth over 100k+ Sheckles each.

It’s compatible with gear like the Sweet Soaker Sprinkler and has one of the widest mutation pools in the game, including Alienlike, Sundried, Plasma, Celestial, and more. You can even use AFK sprinklers to stack massive fruit size overnight.
