With a passive that feeds on electric mutations and spreads shock, Raiju might be the most electrifying pet in the Corrupted Event.

But unlocking it won’t be as simple because it's super rare. Here’s everything I know so far about how to unlock the Raiju in Grow A Garden and what its lightning-charged passive actually does.

Raiju can be unlocked from the Corrupted Zen Egg, which was introduced during the second half of the Zen Event. It has a 4% drop chance, making it one of the rarer pulls from the egg. Once obtained, it takes 4 hours and 10 minutes to hatch, so be ready for a bit of a wait.

You can also unlock Raiju in Grow A Garden by growing the Zen Channeller’s tree to Stage 7. This involves combining Tranquil and Corrupted plants and feeding them to the Zen Channeller until the tree is fully grown.

Raiju occasionally devours a fruit with the Shocked mutation for a 1.5x value, then fires off a chain lightning that spreads either Static or Shocked mutations to nearby fruit. This effect only triggers during Thunderstorm weather, though, making it a powerful synergy pet for storm-based builds.
