Rocket League Campeonato de las Américas: How to register, format, schedule, more

Rocket League is the land of opportunity -- we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again and whilst its dominance and behemoths are found in the US, France and such; the opportunities don’t end there.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage month and plenty of Latino independences around the globe, developers and organisers Psyonix are throwing their sombreros in the ring for a car soccer extravaganza.

In the second edition of the Goals for Change foundation, Rocket League will be holding an event for all Latinos in North and South America.

Without further ado, from rewards to how to register, here’s everything you need to know about the Rocket League Campeonato de las Américas.

Rocket League Campeonato de las Américas schedule

The Rocket League Campeonato de las Américas tournament will run from 22nd September to 2nd October 2021.

Rocket League Campeonato de las Américas regions

The Rocket League Campeonato de las Américas event will have one tournament per North and South region with the following countries included in each:

North

• Canada 
• Colombia
• Costa Rica
• Dominican Republic
• Ecuador
• Guatemala
• Mexico
• Nicaragua
• Panama
• Peru
• Puerto Rico
• United States

South

• Argentina
• Brazil
• Bolivia
• Chile
• Paraguay
• Peru 
• Uruguay 

Rocket League Campeonato de las Américas format

The Rocket League Campeonato de las Américas event will have two separate tournaments for each region (North and South) with the following format:

• Two days of Open Qualifiers
• Four days of Group Stage
• One day of Playoffs

Rocket League Campeonato de las Américas prize pool

Rocket League Campeonato de las Américas will have the following prize pools for each placement, with all money proceeding to a charity of the team’s choosing:

Finals

• 1st Place: $10,000 per team
• 2nd Place: $6,000 per team
• 3rd Place: $4,000 per team
• 4th Place: $3,000 per team

Group Stage

• 3rd Place: $1,600 per team
• 4th Place: $1,000 per team
• 5th Place: $600 per team
• 6th Place: $300 per team
