Fortnite’s Shadow Cup kicked off its European Session 1 on August 21, 2026, giving solo players a chance to unlock the Shadow the Hedgehog outfit without spending V-Bucks. The cup runs through the Compete tab and ties directly into the Gaming Legends push behind Chapter 7 Season 4 Override.
Unlike squad-based events, every point belongs to one player, and Europe’s leaderboard has more than 94,000 participants competing for placement. Europe has one of the largest qualifying allocations, with more available spots than smaller regions.
What You Need To Clear In Europe
- Battle Royale and Zero Build: finish inside the Top 1,000 on your regional leaderboard
- Mobile bracket: finish inside the Top 200, competing only against other mobile players
- Reach 8 points for the Shadow’s Power spray, or 5 points on mobile
- Reach 40 points for the Sonic’s Roll spray, or 20 points on mobile
Clearing the placement cutoff unlocks the full set: the Shadow the Hedgehog outfit, Doom’s Eye Back Bling, and the Super Shadow Transformation emote. The two sprays are point-based rather than placement-based, giving players rewards below the placement cutoff.
Full scoring and prize breakdowns for the Europe session are available on the official Fortnite competitive site, and live standings can be tracked through the Fortnite Tracker leaderboard.
If the leaderboard does not go your way, the Shadow cosmetics are expected to land in the Item Shop on August 23, 2026, though Epic has not officially confirmed that date. Entering the cup costs nothing, while the Item Shop is expected to provide another option later.
