Rhythm game revival Stage Tour now has a confirmed launch date of December 10, 2026, arriving on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, according to RedOctane Games. The studio is also opening pre-orders today for a full lineup of dedicated guitar, drum, and microphone hardware.
RedOctane isn’t a new name to anyone who grew up smashing plastic frets. The original studio behind the early Guitar Hero games shut down back in 2010, and this revived team, built from veterans of that same era, is positioning Stage Tour as the genre’s proper comeback rather than a quick cash-in.
What’s In The Box (And On The Setlist)
Today’s reveal dropped 20 newly confirmed tracks, bringing the total to 45 out of a promised 90+ songs spanning six decades. Fresh additions include Olivia Rodrigo’s ballad of a homeschooled girl, Metallica’s Lux Æterna, and blink-182’s MORE THAN YOU KNOW, alongside confirmed songs from Paramore, Radiohead, and The Rolling Stones.

Over 180 authentic Gibson, Epiphone, and Kramer guitars unlock through play, alongside a 50-plus bandmate roster offering more than 150 combinations. Five modes cover everyone from newcomers to shredders, including Quickplay, Practice, Judgements, Karaoke, and the roguelite-style Tour Mode, with up to four players mixing guitars, drums, mics, or gamepads locally, plus cross-platform online co-op according to GameRant.
