The recently release Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the most ambitious Lego game to date. Encompassing the nine main Episodes as well as plenty of side content including The Mandalorian, Rogue One, and more, The Skywalker Saga is the definitive Lego experience for Star Wars fans.
A huge part of the appeal is the relatively simple but addictive gameplay that incentivises exploration, as well as experiencing the Star Wars story fans have come to know from a different perspective.
Another huge selling point is the multiplayer aspect of Lego games, making it a perfect title to invite some friends over and blast through the plethora of content Lego games have to offer. If you're looking to enjoy Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker with a friend, we have some good news as well as some bad to share.
Is Lego Star Wars The Skywalker saga crossplay?
Let's start with the big letdown first. Not only is Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga not crossplay, there is no option to play the game online with a friend in any way, shape, or form.
That means two players on the same ecosystem that try and group up for an online session in Lego Star Wars won't be able to do it as there's simply no option.

Quite frankly, a shocking decision considering the state of things, in and outside the gaming world.
Does Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga have couch co-op?
The silver lining is that if you have friends physically come to your house, you are able to play Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga together. You don't need to follow any particular steps, simply connect a second controller and the option for a second player to join your session will show up.
As we've mentioned, there is plenty of content to enjoy when it comes to Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Each of the nine Epidoses is divided into five levels, with central hubs tying the experience together.
