Stardew Valley's massive 1.6 update includes a new type of merchant, the Bookseller. As their name implies, the Bookseller offers a wide variety of books to players for purchase. Here's where and when you can find the Bookseller in Stardew Valley, and exactly what they offer.

Where Is The Bookseller In Stardew Valley?

The Bookseller in Stardew Valley can be found right behind the Joja Mart, as you can see in the map above.

The Bookseller only comes twice a season, on random dates; you can find out when the Bookseller will be in town again by taking a look at your calendar. You'll also know the Bookseller is in town because, when they visit, you get a message that says "The Bookseller is in town today."

The Bookseller is open all throughout the day. You can both buy books from the Bookseller, as the name implies, or trade in your own books for special items.
