Keys are one of the most important parts of Subway Surfers as they will let you continue your run if you get hit by an obstacle like a train, pole, tunnel wall, etc. In addition to this, you can also purchase various characters, their outfits, boards, and much more. Earlier you had to spend your money in order to purchase them, which was not possible for everyone. However, Kiloo has now added various methods in the game that you can use to get tons of free keys and we have listed the top five below.

Achievements

Just like in almost every other game, Subway Surfers also has a bunch of achievements that will reward you with free keys upon completion. While some of them are easy to complete while the others can be extremely difficult to achieve however the time spent on these is totally worth it.

Ads

This is the easiest way to collect free keys, and all you need is an internet connection for the same. You will be asked to watch a video mostly ranging from 5 seconds to 30 seconds and in return, you will be rewarded with free keys. 

Codes

Kiloo releases codes for Subway Surfers from time to time that can be redeemed to get free keys, coins, mystery boxes, and much more. However, they usually expire soon, so make sure to redeem them as soon as possible not to miss your free rewards. While playing the game, you must have received a colorful box which is called Mystery Box and once you open it, you will be rewarded with a random in-game item. This includes coins, boost, board, etc however in addition to this, you might also get free keys from it if you are lucky. This method however is the least efficient of the rest of the ways mentioned because the probability of getting free keys out of it is quite low.

Season Hunt

Season Hunt is an event in Subway Surfers just like there is a Battle Pass in various other games. You will have to collect season tokens while playing the game and level up through different tiers. The task is quite easy to complete and will reward you with free keys in the game.
