The Marth prodigy earned his spot for the upcoming invitational alongside the rest of the Top 6 of the event.
Zain wins SCL2, qualifies for Summit 11

With Smash Summit 11 on the horizon, the Summit Champions League Season 2 Playoffs was the biggest opportunity to earn a place in the invitational, as it offered six spots.

In the end, it was Zain Naghami who closed it out by beating Joseph "Mang0" Marquez with a bracket reset in the grand finals and a dominant 3-0 on the final and decisive one.

Mang0 will be far from sad, as he alongside Zain, Kurtis "moky" Pratt, Justin "Plup" McGrath, Zachary "SFAT" Cordoni, and Cody "iBDW" Schwab earned their ticket for the upcoming Summit 11, scheduled to start 15th July.

The biggest absentee from the list of qualified players is perhaps Juan "Hungrybox" Debiedma, who entered SCL2 Playoffs from the loser's side of bracket being eliminated by Justin "Wizzrobe" Hallett in round 2.

Hbox alongside any other Melee pro who's looking to enter Summit 11 still has up to eight opportunities to do so -- two via tournaments (Rollback Rumble for North America and SAME for Europe) and six via fan voting.
