There are a lot of video games out there for people to try out. Staples like Fortnite have defined the battle royal genre so much that many other famous battle royal games have followed in its footsteps. It takes a lot of bravery for developers to create something new in an ecosystem where the familiar usually wins out.

But Embark Studios are trying something new with The Finals. The Finals is currently in a closed beta right now and developers are hardly able to keep up with the demand for access keys. With so many people trying out the closed beta, when will the open beta for The Finals start? Here, we will go over that answer.

Is The Finals Getting An Open Beta?

At the time of this writing, The Finals is currently undergoing a closed beta test for players to try out this new game. Players are demanding access keys due to the hype the game is currently generating online. Players want to get into the game as fast as possible and experience what The Finals have to offer.

Although The Finals is currently undergoing a closed beta, there is no word of an open beta for the game. Embark Studios has yet to give more information on how many more play tests are going to happen for the game either. So as of right now, do not expect an open beta to come out for The Finals just yet.

Will The Finals Have An Open Beta Anytime Soon?

At this moment in time, it is a little bit unclear if The Finals will eventually have its own open beta. With a lot of large online video games, a closed beta is usually followed by another closed beta or open beta. Embark Studios says they want as much testing as possible to make sure that The Finals is in its best shape for launch.

Looking at the official Steam page for The Finals, there is currently no launch date or window for the game. That means there is still quite a bit of time for development for this game. More than likely, there should be another beta test for the game. There is a pretty good chance that The Finals will have an open beta at some point this year.
