With Season 1 of the show finishing, fans are wondering what is coming to the future of the television series.
Will All Of The Last Of Us Part 2 Fit Into Season 2 Of The Show?
The Last of Us television series has concluded the story for Part 1 of the video game. Being nine episodes long, the season did not last too long, but it was just as impactful as the game. Now fans are wondering if all of The Last of Us Part 2 will be done in the second season of the television series.
In an interview, Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin both confirmed that The Last of Us Part 2 will not be all contained within one season for the TV show. The Last of Us Part 1 is estimated to be around 12 hours long, while Part 2 is around 24 hours long. According to the pair, it is impossible to put all of Part 2 into a single season and do the story justice.
How Many Season Of The Last Of Us TV Show Will Be?
At the bare minimum, The Last of Us TV show will be at least three seasons long. The Last of Us Part 2 is double the length of Part 1, and HBO made nine episodes out of the first game. If everything is formatted the same, that would mean that there are at least 18 more episodes for The Last of Us Coming.
More than likely, there might be a bit more than that. The Last of Us Part 2 has Abby Anderson, the second protagonist of the game. The main story of the second game followed both Abby and Ellie on their separate paths. There is a lot of room for creative freedom with how The Last of Us Part 2 played out, so it will be interesting to see how many episodes of the second game HBO will produce.
